Reservation and Shipping

The reservation and purchase process for kittens at Maria Munchkin Cattery is carefully structured to ensure both parties are aligned, with the following key points:

1. Reservation Timing: Kittens can be reserved once they are 8 weeks old. After confirming an application, potential buyers are notified when the kittens are ready for visitation and reservation. Buyers may visit the kittens (if feasible), and a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to secure a kitten. This deposit is part of the total cost and non-refundable due to the lost opportunity of other placements during the holding time.

2. Payment Flexibility: Payment terms and the advance payment size are discussed on an individual basis with each buyer.

3. Reservation Finalization: A kitten is only considered reserved once the Reservation Agreement is signed and the deposit is paid. Mere discussion does not guarantee ownership of the kitten.

4. Cattery Rights: Terra D’oro Santo Cattery retains the right to decline the sale of any kitten without providing reasons at any point.

Payment and Transfer:

• Initial Payment: The buyer must make a 60% advance payment of the kitten’s cost (via bank transfer) and 100% payment for delivery services (for non-residents) before transferring the kitten.
• Full Payment: The kitten will only be transferred to the buyer once full payment is completed, with the possibility of installment payments.
• Transfer Age: Kittens younger than 12 weeks will not be transferred. By 3 months of age, they are fully adapted, litter trained, scratching post accustomed, vaccinated, and dewormed.

Documentation Included:

The following documents are provided free of charge upon signing the Kitten Purchase and Sale Agreement:

• Full medical record from a veterinarian (vaccines, disease-free, dewormed, flea treated).
• Spay/neuter document.
• Health clearance for travel (1-2 days before departure).
• Care and maintenance recommendations.
• Grooming recommendations for shows/exhibitions.
• Breeder Slip from TICA verifying the kitten’s origin.
• Additional health tests can be requested by the buyer for an extra charge. A 5-year genetic health guarantee is included.
